In an awesome opportunity, I am collaborating with United Friends of the Children to bring you “Studying Tips”! UFC provides excellent and much-needed services to foster youth (and their families), to prepare them for a life after foster care. Most foster youth do not graduate high school, much less go to college, and UFC works to bridge that gap. UFC prepares students for high school and college success. They assist with both housing and education programs. I’ve been working with UFC students for a while now as a tutor, but now I get to help parents/caregivers too!
For this project, I will be posting studying and other helpful tips for parents and students (as I already do here), but now UFC will also link here on their Facebook page! Visit them and “Like” their Facebook page. Tips will be posted EVERY TWO WEEKS ON TUESDAYS so check in to see what’s going on. Of course, you can still come here as often as you would like. 🙂 As always, if you have any ideas or comments, please let me know!
I’m excited to be partnering with UFC, and I look forward to the learning!
